The first time I was there, I saw a slot machine close to me paying off some amount of money close to two times out of three tries. The next time I went there, I used that machine, betting the maximum every time and won $500, so I have stayed with that one machine since then and have come away several hundred dollars to the good every time. Gambling (except gambling whether I can get some plant to grow) holds no sway for me. I did notice in Las Vegas that Asian themed slots, slots near the ATM's where folks cash out, and slots on the way to restrooms, or near exits seemed to be paying out.
