I personally believe that if you don't like an employer's EBP, then go work somewhere else.
Yes, Obamacare led to the Hobby Lobby ruling, but if the GOP and those who run it in DC and the NE United States would have quit running RINOS in House, Senate and Presidential races and/or demanding that they get the field (and had quit this course long before 2008), maybe Dems wouldn't have had a super majority in the House and 60 Senators in January 2009 - thus no Obamacare.
A continuation of the law of unintended consequences...
The GOP Establishment (as I stated before post #1) played a major hand in Obama being elected. Without Obamacare, we wouldn't be in this mess and have had a need for a HL ruling.
There are very few insurances that cover infertility treatments and almost none that are offered through companies. It is considered like vanity plastic surgery or LASIK eye treatment.
It might be covered if it is considered medically necessary for treatment for another illness. Surgical cleanup for endometriosis is one that is covered. It may result in temporary restoration of fertility but the primary purpose is to relieve the problems caused by endometriosis.
health coverage should cover just that....you get sick, break a bone, get injured, are unable to accomplish normal activities...walk, talk, etc. it should pay....all of the voluntary activities that you choose to do should be done at your own expense......sex changes, birth control, cosmetic surgery, other than for an injury or disease repair, should be on your own......prices would dramatically drop and there would be a whole lot of rethinking going on.
