I think the word is out to the GOP. If we want to impeach the SOB, shut up until the November elections are over...and then let's see if we can muster a 2/3's Senate majority for impeachment.

I have great respect for Palin but wonder what's the heck she is doing here.

That said, she might be playing the role of foil for the GOP.

She brings up the issue of impeachment so they can shoot it down...thereby denying the Dims of the opportunity of using it as a means of mustering votes and cash.

I liken what Palin did as to planting a seed.

With Obama’s sheer lawlessness at the very forefront of things, with his facilitation of this invasion of illegals, the timing was right to plant this seed. This was a forward-thinking action. Moreso than just a literal and immediate rally-cry.

The Founders did not vest the House with the power of impeachment, but only if they are sure the Senate will convict.

Sarah is absolutely, positively right.

Obama has committed myriad high crimes and misdemeanors; the House MUST impeach. Let the Senate, then, do what it will.

Well, first of all, she is speaking the truth.

Secondly, she is acting out of principle, and not outcome-based decision-making.

Something the cowards in the GOP-E do all the time.

Something I am glad that our founders refused to do, otherwise, they would have never fought a war against the most powerful Army/Navy in the world at the time, Great Britain.

Well, given that the Dim vote is entirely emotional, they need something to get the vote out.

On an entirely different level is my view of the State of the Union.
It is shot.
No longer is a proud union that created free states of civil governance.

No longer is a nation sovereign of its land.
No longer is a nation that prides itself on opportunity.
No longer is a nation that is of the people, by the people and for the people.
This nation has been overrun by fools that have no comprehension of tyranny.
