Friends it's Sunday night again, and time to relax. Warm up the tubes for another four hours of classic radio Americana.
*tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
Chester has poor instincts about women.
Hi, Gina! Be cutting out shortly for the latest episode of The Last Ship, but be back at 10.......
That’s pretty chilly. I go as low as 77.
When my work shift rolls around, I like it cool in my den here. I keep the blinds closed, keep an autumn harvest scented candle lit, and it gives off a definite October/November vibe. Very relaxing workplace aura.
Sounds like your heart is in Western MD, or a more northern point.
I saw America a couple of days ago. Excellent! D’Souza did address “what would the world be without America,” tangentially — his theme of “conquest mentality,” or however he put it, dominating the world before the American revolution ushered in the principle that wealth should be created rather than conquered. Without American ascendancy the world would still be operating according to the conquest mentality/ethic, where people in power take what they want, and entrepreneurs/businessmen are held in low esteem. When you think about it, the Democrats operate under the conquest mentality — for them, politics is about conquest, pillaging your enemies and dividing the spoils among your friends.
Yes, Chester... bless his heart. :-)
I loved that Four Preps song Ed played.
Lazy summer night is great.
Edward G. Robinson! Sweet...
Well the thunderstorms have arrived, I’m heading to the radio for the last hour.
Night Gina, talk to you later.
Vision and Viking, we’re about to have dinner and wind down for the night. See you next week, Lord willing.
Yes, it is. Sometimes I think I’d probably be more at home somewhere within shouting distance of the Arctic Circle.
‘Night, Gina. You and yours have a good evening.
Ah, yes! As the ad said, they’re all “meat” with no bones to mess with! :-)
