Personally Kevin Keller is one character whose “back-story” I would prefer not to read about.(My guess would be that young Kevin away from home and moved to Riverdale because he didn’t like the way he was being reared.)

I grew up reading comic books, including Archie. Granted, those clowns may own the copyright, and they can do what they want with it, but they're messing with our folklore, and I don't like it. They should consider themselves as stewards of a tradition, not as free to change the whole thing.
I used to have a friend named Kevin Keller. If he were still alive, I wonder how he'd feel about having his name hung on a queer.
