Republicans Want Obama Impeached — And John Boehner Is Trying To Stop Them
The Bustle ^ | 7/14/14 | Seth Millstein

Apparently, Sarah Palin still has some influence after all: Shortly after the former half-term Alaska Governor called for President Obama’s impeachment, over two-thirds of Republicans said Obama should be impeached in a new poll. That’s an increase since a similar survey was taken in early 2013, wherein “only” half of Republicans supported removing Obama from office.

The GOP means Give Obama Power.

The GOP is COMPLICIT from Benghazi to the IRS atrocity.

An American six year old can see through the treason,
if she is not infected with tuberculosis or murdered
by a criminal illegal.

Do they ever refer to Obama as the “former half-term Senator from Illinois?”

Sorry this article is a bit supportive of the left.

I just liked the title, so decided to run with this one.

The people of Ohio can do something about Boner this November.

No impeachment proceedings will begin before then anyway.

So what if a RAT wins his seat. As Hitlery Rotten Clintonov said, what difference at this point does it make?

An impeachment is well deserved but at this point would not go anywhere in the senate.

Concentrate on winning the senate in November first.

Then the senate MIGHT vote to convict an impeached Obama.

Impeachment is a waste of time.
It would die in the senate.

“over two-thirds of Republicans said Obama should be impeached”

What the hell is wrong with the other 30%. Are they brain dead?

All knowledgeable and patriotic Americans want Obama gone. Either Obama is stopped or America is destroyed.

It is as simple as that.

I like that, thanks.

Much as I’d like to see Obama gone, unless somehow 2/3 of the Senate becomes amenable to removing him from office, what exactly is the point of pushing for it? Not one democrat nor half of the repub senators will support pushing Obama out.

This is typical of Republicans ability to shoot themselves in the foot whenever they get the chance. Even talking about impeachment now will only serve to energize democrats going into the fall elections. Lawsuits and impeachment talk is political suicide unless the Repub’s take the senate and even then I’m not convinced they’d have to cajones to actually remove the man from office.

Impeachment of Obama is NOT a smart political move. The Press would play it up as pure political gamesmanship and probably racism. It wouldn’t go anywhere because the Senate would never vote to remove him and the whole circus might just end up making Obama more popular (Like it did Clinton).

Clinton's impeachment was a waste of time??

BTW Clinton's impeachable offenses were mild compared to Obama's.

Exactly. Just like the 42 bills to repeal Obamacare, a removal from office vote would crash without a hope of passage.

Bonehead is probably right.
Since, no matter what, the Senate won’t convict, an impeachment is a waste of time. I don’t think Obama would even take time off from golfing to defend himself.
The ‘Pubbies would end up wasting bundles of political capital and maybe cause some civil unrest.

Hey I understand 100% that Obama is completely safe at the moment.

Completely.

Just putting the subject out there for discussion is all. We could not possibly impeach Obama at the moment.

No way.

That said, it is a good subject for blowing off steam, and things may very well change following the elections in November.

Just keeping the subject open is all.

If you won't do the right thing because you are afraid of the press, then you might as well give up.
