Apple, Uber eye Ex-Press Secretary Jay Carney for PR job: report
ny daily news ^ | 7-15-2014

Following his June departure from the White House, Obama’s ex-press secretary is a hot commodity among the tech world, with Apple and Uber among the bidders hoping to woo the retired spokesman, according to Re/code . Carney would have his work cut out for him at the San Francisco-based Uber. The ride-sharing app faces firm opposition from taxi unions and is battling city councils in major cities across the U.S. He could also land at Apple, in nearby Cupertino, since he is already a fan of their products. Though Obama was stuck with a BlackBerry for security reasons, Carney favored a sleek black iPhone as his smartphone of choice. The 49-year-old former journalist left the Obama administration with the President’s blessing, citing his desire to spend more time with his family. So far Carney has stayed out of the spotlight, with murmurs he could land a gig as a contributor at MSNBC — alongside his predecessor Robert Gibbs and Obama adviser David Axelrod. Neither Apple nor Uber responded to a request for comment on the report.

Uh, and why exactly does Apple need such a high-power professional liar like Carney? Makes no sense anyway since Carney is so discredited amongst at least half the U.S. population, you know, the half that would assume everything he said as Apple spokesman just had to be a lie and would pretty much assume the exact opposite of everything he said was the actual truth.

Apple's anointed tech journalist -- Jim Dalrymple -- says the report isn't true.

“...why exactly does Apple need such a high-power professional liar like Carney? Makes no sense anyway since Carney is so discredited amongst at least half the U.S. population...”

Elitist leftists like those who run Apple truly believe they can offend and ostracize those who disagree with them and suffer no economic repercussions. You know the country is spiraling downward when large corporations brazenly espouse political viewpoints, either explicitly or implicitly. In hiring Jay Carney Apple clearly declares its full support of the Marxist in Chief.
