BANTAM >> A Thomaston man is accused of stabbing a watermelon with a butcher knife and leaving it in the kitchen for a woman to see, in what police describe as a passive aggressive swipe that landed him in custody. She was unnerved by what she perceived to be a menacing gesture directed at her and reported it to police.

Apparently, we’re not allowed to run around stabbing fruits. Who knew?
Passive aggressive?
That’s really weak. DA likely won’t prosecute but poor guy will have to bond out of jail and got a lot of bad press for fruit stabbing.
She stole his weed, he stole it back. Things aren’t going to end well.
Wait a couple months to see what he does with those pumpkins.
Who knows what they would do if they saw me make an Omelet?
Ban knives and ban watermelon..for the children
Though it’s uncommon, there is a “watermelon (or pumpkin) knife drill” that is very educational.
That is, with your other hand in your pocket or grabbing your belt, you use your knife to carve up the watermelon as fast as you can. It teaches all sorts of things about knife fighting.
It ain’t easy, and you will likely be exhausted when you are done.
We’ll probably find out that this guy was playing Fruit Ninja a little too much and decided to move up to the next level.
He was going to cut up a watermelon then had to go take a leak and forgot about it.
Save the vegetables (and the fruits, too)!
Plants have rights, too, ya know.
Swiss Government Issues Bill of Rights for Plants

Revolution is in the air, as the Swiss Government’s Federal Ethics Committee on Non-Human Biotechnology concludes that plants have rights, and we have to treat them appropriately. A majority of the panel concluded that “living organisms should be considered morally for their own sake because they are alive.” The Weekly Standard, which is appalled, gives an example of how a farmer mowing his field is OK, but if he carelessly decapitates flowers while walking home, that is immoral. It suggests that “The animal rights movement grew out of the same poisonous soil.” Patrick Metzger at Green Daily suggests that “this concept is a little extreme even for the most committed treehugger.”
Arrested for passive-aggressive watermelon carving? Youre kidding me, right? Hell, the passive-aggressive watermelon carving contest is the main event at most watermelon festivals in the south. Well, that and the beer guzzling and the crawdad eating contest.
Just defending himself against fresh fruit.
With him behind bars, they can’t elope.
Arg! LOL!
Also at many family cookouts.
