Is Russia Arming Ukrainians Worse than Obama Arming Isis In Syria?

One of the oddities of our current struggle against ISIS in Iraq is that Obama armed these people while they were in Syria. They were part of that coalition of rebels that Obama considered the 'moderates' who were fighting the Assad regime. Then ISIS went to Iraq, and they became bad guys. In a plot from the 'Twilight Zone', Assad began bombing them in Iraq, apparently, and thereby became an unheralded ally. During their foray into Iraq, ISIS has slaughtered (and tortured) thousands. Obama's former friends should be credited to Obama's account, but our media being what it is, the MSM works to keep the connection from public view.

During this time, Obama, who has decimated our own military in his drawdown of US forces, who has left zero tanks in Europe, and who has stripped the Ukraine military of all but Meals Ready to Eat, keeps tweeting that Russia in in trouble now. Hashtag diplomacy against Putin has been as effective as economic diplomacy against Putin.

Now, Putin's friends in the Ukraine have murdered nearly 300 civilians in the shootdown of a commercial airliner. While one can question (again) the thinking of a Malaysian pilot. This time in choosing to fly over a war zone, one can't doubt that the missile downing the airliner was an intentional act. Putin's hands are dirty with the blood of hundreds. There is no desire to whitewash the culpability or depravity of Vladimir Putin.

But...Putin dirty/Obama clean?

Only for the willfully blind.

The difference being, Putin are arming allies, while Obama are arming enemies of US

No, not even close.
First , I don’t think it has been determined where the rebels got the missiles. May have been from a military post they overran.
Second, the rebels are interested in Ukraine, period. ISIS in Syria is a mere stepping stone to a worldwide muslim conflict.

The sophistication of the weapons is something to consider, but if Zer0 thought he could get away with it he’d arm the Muslims with the latest and greatest, IMO.

Putin and Obama are much the same, but Obama will be out of office in two years. Putin’s supporters and Obama’s are much the same too; they’re slavishly follow the leader no matter what he does, and believe them no matter what the evidence is. The big difference is Putin is President for Life. Obama is not.

I’d rather wait until the investigation into the plane crash is completed before assigning blame for it. There are plenty of BUK missles ostensibly in the hands of the Ukrainian military and they have not all been accounted for.

ObaMao is arming our “frienemies” and yet claims he worries about America being attacked by terrorists. In the mean time, the borders are wide open as well.

Keep putting up with it tho.

“One can’t doubt that the missile downing the airliner was an intentional act.”

I hadn’t heard many people saying that an airliner was shut down intentionally. I heard some people saying separatists thought they had shot down a military transport plane.

So your theory is they knew it was a passenger jet and intentionally shot it down, and you’re so confident in this that “one can’t doubt it”.

What was the motive? Who benefited? What did they hope to gain?

It was in a war zone. The sophistication of the weapons systems says that it had to be tracked. So, the shoot down was intentional. There might have been remorse about the type of plane afterwards, but there can be no doubt that it was targeted, tracked, and shot down

Oh ok. Your original post made it sound like they intentionally shot down a commercial airliner.

This is what I wrote: This time in choosing to fly over a war zone, one can't doubt that the missile downing the airliner was an intentional act. Putin's hands are dirty with the blood of hundreds

So, I can definitely see your reading it as broadly as you did. I'm always amazed (afterwards) how unclearly I've written something that at the time I thought was clear.

huh?

The way you wrote your sentence it says “no one can doubt that the missile downing the airliner was an intentional act.”

The plain reading of that is that they intentionally downed an airline.

That’s why the first thought through my mind when Obama was discussing the event with Putin, was that they might have been confiding to one another how to play the situation in the public eye.

Obama has been known to be very friendly to Putin and rumor has it that Obama was also trained by the KGB when he was associated with the CIA and Putin is no stranger to such machinations.

It was a war zone. The airliner encroached on that war zone and was targeted. The missile was intentionally fired at that target...that happened to be an airliner. I guess I could have called it a UFO, but I already knew it was an airliner. Downing the UFO was an intentional act. Targeting and firing on any aircraft with that particular weapons system is not accidental.
