who owns...CSPAN anyway?????

As I recall, CSPAN is owned or at least funded by the satellite and cable companies. While this may be an unpopular move, it is certainly legitimate.

If there are any taxpayer dollars involved in producing anything on CSPAN, this decision should be challenged.

the government feeds....streamings of hearings etc will still be availanble over the net...according to this.. from CSPAN
