President Obama to Sign LGBT Employment Executive Order Monday Without Religious Privilege
gayopolis ^ | 7-19-2014

Posted on 07/19/2014 8:33:40 AM PDT by Citizen Zed

Although there will be no religious privileges included in the order. an older executive order still applies to some groups:

No further exemption for religious entities will be included in the executive order, but the update also won't repeal President George W. Bush's amendment to EO 11246, which allows religious-affiliated federal contractors to discriminate on the basis of religion, officials said. "You can use religion to only hire people who share your religion, but you can't discriminate against somebody who is of your faith who happens to be LGBT, unless they fall within the ministerial exemption," officials said.

It's great that the president is doing this, but it's both a sad commentary on the inability of congress (because of conservative stalling) to take any action on the matter for how many years now? And it could be reversed with the stroke of a pen by the next conservative President.

What he will accomplish with this act. No hiring of homos and more hatred towards them by designating them as a special privileged class. What 0 has done in office has simply made us aware of how sexually deviated and perverted the LGBT’ers are. In fact, he has done them a great disservice.

Despite all the noise they make turns out they are more of a minority than everyone thinks. But seems that in the WH they have a bigger presence than they do in the general population.

I’m just sick of having a “special rights agenda” shoved down our throats. I think the perverts at the gay pride parades should be arrested for doing what any straight person would be arrested for. etc. etc. I don’t think they’re cute or amusing just because they like to do you know what.

If they want to live like decent people and keep their private lives private then I don’t care - as long as they’re law abiding citizens.

Have all the “pink slips” dated for Sunday,
at 00:30. Inform them that the position is
being deleted. Any further applicants that
are gay, are summarily “over qualified” for
that position.

It all comes down to $'s. Gays have more money to donate to politics and do so very successfully. They were not happy with how Obama ignored them in the first two years of his presidency, and made that known. Since then they have gotten 100% of anything they asked for.

Though their numbers are indeed small, they are seen at key positions in entertainment, academia, and the judiciary. Conservatives can learn much from this motivated minority.

Try that $hit in Kansas. The boss can not hire or fire you for any or no reason at all.

What is a sad commentary is that Al Queerda's agenda is the most important thing to an American president and his political party.

Executive orders apply only to the workings of the United States government. Obama can issue all the executive orders
relating to the private sector he wants. But they don’t have
any authority there.

I agree totally. And we've got the will of most people with us and we're easier to identify with - once the general public hear our unfiltered message.

The rats work 24/7 to demonize us, turn us into a dirty word, and unfortunately it's worked fairly well. We have to get way better at getting the truth out without being "Palinized". Oh how I despise the bastards for what they did to her! They'd kill their own mothers if they thought it would get them ahead.

“”You can use religion to only hire people who share your religion, but you can’t discriminate against somebody who is of your faith who happens to be LGBT, unless they fall within the ministerial exemption,” officials said. “

So basically all a person has to do is join that religion then “come out” as LGBT.

Anyone else here see the ‘ah hem’ back door in this?
