Don’t look to the Evil Geniuses for Fembots, look to the same industry that made the VCR and the CD-drive come into their own.

Porn. Whoever creates a working, decent sexbot has a license to print money. Especially in the current environment where what was consensual the night before becomes rape on the next day.

Men ALREADY are increasingly avoiding marriage, relying on “hookups” and “friends with benefits”. .create a decent female sexbot, and many men will quit on women entirely. . .

I’ve always said if science developed a real, functioning (Star Trek New Gen) Holosuite both genders (male and female) would disappear inside and never come out.

You, and nearly 100 million Japanese men, are not alone.

“Caregiving is low-paid work that is “women’s work and immigrants’ work,” she said, and often it’s work that many people won’t or can’t do. But robot caregivers could change the quality of life for many elderly or disabled patients, Aronson writes.”

I don’t see this happening anytime soon considering that the Democrats and SEIU would need to figure out how to unionize the robots.

Besides this could be another ‘ATM’ moment for Obama.

Obama, ATMs And Rage Against The Rise Of Machines

In a recent interview, President Barack Obama attempted to explain the “structural changes” that have led to a stagnant economic recovery. “When you go to a bank you use the ATM, you don’t go to a bank teller,” he said. “Or you go to the airport and you use a kiosk instead of checking in at the gate.” It seems the rise of the machines is occurring in 2011 after all, just as James Cameron predicted.

This proposal is as realistic as the animated household goods in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” Nobody’s going to put the money into developing this for the elderly. Rich old people can afford to pay for whatever live, human help they want, and the rest will be invited to serve mankind by accepting euthanasia.

The best outcome for most would be a kind, nurturing Christian woman from the Philippines or Central America. At worst, you’ll get a Rachel Jeantel.

Would you voluntarily leave a stray dog in this person’s care? How about an incapacitated elderly white man?

Japan has NO CHOICE but to do this, as they will not permit their country to be repopulated with Third World types, and they have a very old population that lives very long lives.

We’ll see how it goes...

Even if technology advances sufficiently before Japan’s currently elderly people die, the demand for sexual use might outpace the supply unless the government intervenes to guarantee aides to the elderly.

Not just Japanese men... but the Japanese seem to be pushing the boundaries of anthromorphic robots, from dog-bot bets to fembots.
