Origin: 1250–1300; (v.) Middle English sucuren < Old French suc ( c ) urre, socorre < Latin succurrere to go beneath, run to help, equivalent to suc- suc- + currere to run (see current); (noun) Middle English soc ( o ) ur, back formation from sucurs (taken as plural) < Old French < Medieval Latin succursus, equivalent to Latin succur ( rere ) + -sus, var of -tus suffix of v. action

I was following the competition, and even the “experts” were saying that diving was way up this tournament .... There was also some study conducted recently which showed a general correlation that players from warmer climates tended to act out more – I think the hardy eastern Europeans were least likely to do so.

well depends, xshub’s 4 runner and the Denali before it, requires me to hike myself up on the step to get in. It is a function of how high off the ground it is. Esp tough in a dress.

I don’t think climbing up is nearly as bad as having to crouch down and twist to get into a low car. Of course, my cars are just right. Just open the door and sit down.

My wife’s new car got 27.5 and 26.6 mpg on our trip to Niagara. Not bad for fully loaded with three people and with A/C.
