Funny, I just mentioned this on another subject. I think it is doable. I think it is worthwhile. I don’t think it is a ruse either as they have been on the democrat plantation and need to see how they can get off of it.
You wouldn’t need to capture large numbers of black Americans. First, for Obama’s last election 66% of black eligible voters voted. That’s a record high, but as a percent of the electorate they’re down below 20%. So if you just took one in seven away, you’d see many urban elections swing away from Democrats for statewide races.
