Tisdale is on our side. I’ve learned so much about the El Nino Southern Oscillation from his post. This warm water anomaly has been there for months, but very small. It’s just recently become big, and it worries me.
Thank You again for taking the time to post Joe Bastardi. I was watching the local evening weather forecast for Southen California and the word “extreme” was used multiple times. There is nothing extreme about our weather. If anything it has been cooler or just normal.
What does it mean?
We’ve actually had fewer 100+ days in the high desert this year than I recall in years past. It’s been nice.
It means the El Niño may not be as dead as was thought.

I’m loving this cooler summer. 85-ish and humid today, but back to the 70’s again for the rest of the week. I’ve run my A/C a total of 4 times this season. Happy, Happy!
Hard to ripen the tomatoes, though. They’d like some heat...
Rumor is that those are the "nitey-nite" words that 0bama utters to Valerie Jarrett at the end of the work day (such as that is.....)
For me, that's the equivalent of a zombie apocalypse....

Kalifornia fingers crossed that it’s a whopper - just not to the point of flooding the burn areas.
At the 9:00 mark, briefly, there’s a shot of NOAA’s look at winter, and Joe’s winter looks a lot like last year’s graphs.
I think both of us need to get out more. ;)
