Walt was fanatically strict about stuff like that because he was adamant about Disney being G rated.. One story I like is one year Walt had a Christmas party and the animators being tipsy took turns drawing Minnie mouse getting boinked by Mickey. Walt took one look at it, laughed, and fired everyone involved the next day.
Well the posters I’m talking about were after Walt passed, but the family still had respect, now with ABC calling the shots, anything seems to go. I won’t allow my grandson to watch ABC at all when he is over and I screen the Disney channel prior to his watching.
Yep, that sounds like Walt. Animators came up with that stuff all the time. I’ve read biographies of the “nine old men”, Walts best animators. stuff like that happened a lot. The unwritten rule was “never let Walt see it”. Take it home with you or burn it. DO NOT leave it it the trash, cause sometime Walt would go thru their trash to see in what direction their creative minds were going. Those guys big mistake was doing that with Mickey. Walt was incredibly protective of Mickey and Mickeys image. To some degree Walt was Mickey and vice versa.

Great story.
