SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) An Orange County man was found guilty Tuesday of killing his roommate in 2013.
Kwang Joy, 54, was convicted of second-degree murder for the death of Iraqi war veteran and Cal State Fullerton student Maribel Ramos.
Officials believe Ramos, 36, and Joy got into an argument on May 2, 2013 after the victim told him he needed to move out of her home in Orange.
Ramos body was found in Modjeska Canyon off Santiago Canyon Road two weeks later.
During the search for the victim, Joy maintained his innocence and repeatedly talked about his love for Ramos, who he said was his best friend.
That’s a poorly written title. Who is the veteran, the murderer or the roomate?
The victim/ roommate was the veteran.
If killing someone for their race is a hate crime, so should killing a veteran, heck killing ANYONE in cold blood should be hate crime....
Or just increase the penalty in killing people...
Eye for an eye.
“Roommates” or romantic couple?
[ Eye for an eye. ]
Take a life, lose your own...
I’d be all for lowering the penalties on some of the more mundane “victim less crimes” like weed possession etc.. if we could get an increase in enforcement of violent crimes like murder, rape, theft, ect....
Heck i think identity theft should be treated like horse theft in the 1800’s.
Put having a bit of weed, there should still be a fine, but they shouldn’t throw you in the slammer for possession, maybe just selling it. And drop stupid crap like speed limits and stop light cameras that exist only for “revenue generation”...
