Buster Posey thinks it's a stupid rule, or at least how it's being applied, and would probably beat your ass if you called him a sissy to his face.
It was MLB management and owners that wanted this rule. Not even the umps like it.

I used it because BP was (imo) less than professional wrg to media discussions after the fact of that collision.
I like BP. Really, I do. I just don’t consider him an elite player, and others do.
