I wonder too, about if we could win World War II today, considering that we have exported so much of our industrial base overseas.

In World War II, much industry was converted to supplying the war effort. We still have many car factories, but so much other industrial production capacity is gone. Would we be able to supply the war effort as we did then, with the diminished industrial base we have now?

If we fought WWIII we’d win with robotic factories assembling pre-programmed unmanned aircraft made out of carbon fiber.
