I agree about that.

There is one movie out for an adult, but everyone is screaming there isn’t any blacks in it or anything else they can for it’s made by Woody Allen.

Magic in the moonlight.

It’s actually pleasantly enjoyable and the scenes are gorgeous.

It was pretty much the same for me. I tracked down back issues of Avengers, had no knowledge of the story, and was blown away by it. I had known about the Guardians from their appearances in Defenders, which were also good.

Author C. Clark used a raccoon character in his book, "Beyond the Fall Of Night" called Seeker. The one in this movie is a North Eastern Boston / New York accented thug like thing.

What about Karen Gillan as a blue woman? She was trying to suppress her accent which made it even better.

I was lucky to find so many back issue back in 1982 -83 for great , cheap prices. I bought so many Spider Man, FF, etc in Manhattan at Forbidden Planet and other comic shops. At the times X-Men 95 to 135 had gone up in price.
Although I knew she died back in 73, Death of Gwen Stacey was still tough to read.
Meanwhile I was listening Bob Grant, Barry Farber & Howard Stern.

I love Chris Pratt in Parks and Rec, so I’m happy to hear he has a hit movie. He was very good in Zero Dark Thirty, as well.

I just checked mine.

One documentary, one biopic, three comedies, four dramas, one horror, five fantasies/sci-fi and two children.

At the cheapo, five drama, three fantasies/sci-fi, two horror, three comedy, one children.

It might be the manager at the movie house.

Mr. Peel & I saw it last week. It had been the first time in years since we saw a movie at the cinema. It did not disappoint. The movie was exactly what we were hoping it would be - entertainment. No lectures, no elitists snobbery, no fake political message - just fun with some 80s tunes thrown in.

Star Wars didn't rely solely on their special effects to make a great movie, although the franchise did degrade with every new episode after Empire because that became the focus.

And Iron Man, The Avengers, etc were exactly what I was referring to. Forgettable dribble, all of them.
