WJAS is playing the same music as before it’s just all automated. a couple of canned newscasts and no traffic. News will probably be gone tomorrow. We put it in today because nobody knew what was happening. Not unusual for radio...sigh. We’ll get more info later today.

Planted some tomato plants close to the house..one is as tall as me but it looks like grape size but those are the same as go in my salad,plus a few pepper plants planted late...

Used to Listen to Bogut every morning getting ready for school. Mom always had KDKA on and there was no other radio station in the world I thought.
Hope him and Chilly enjoy their retirements. They have earned it.

Wow, that’s a mighty quick deadline to move a radio station.
My daughter lives in Toledo. She drove to our house Saturday, showered, loaded up on 30 gallons of water from Aldi and Shop n’ Save then drove back Sunday morning.
Well they are moving just a couple thousand feet down the road. Just a couple of main computers, two boards, processing and xmtr controls and odds and ends. One Hertz truck should be fine although they will probably start moving tonight.
In the meantime since everything is canned once the files are transferred everything could run rom a laptop. Even a cell phone would work but would be risky. I have done just that.
Where they are moving is CC in Pgh so the building is already set up. Move the back up equipment first and get it running, then move the main equipment.
There will be issues but since nothing will be live for awhile it should be ok. BTW I have noticed the signal has improved. Not great but better.
I’d vote for them over michelle.
