The North Korean government is now offering surfing tours to the country’s east coast, the state media has announced.
Three resorts on North Korea’s 1,550 mile-long eastern coastline are open for tourists: Songdowon, Lake Sijung and Majon, according to the Pyongyang Times.
“The first surfing tour ran between July 28 and August 6,” the newspaper reported.
“American surfers said they had a very good time in the resort with fascinating scenery and a refreshing environment,” it added. …

Somehow I get the idea that “Hang Ten” has a totally different meaning in Best Korea.
On the other hand, the odd vacationing surfer will probably find themselves alone in the lineup.
One day - it was reported - that the waves were just too calm.
Kim Jong Un fixed that. He had 10,000 political prisoners shipped out 5 miles from the coast, dropped them overboard and told them to splash.
Problem solved.
