Training camp yesterday. I like the big Steeler guy flipping everybody off.
No just waking up, I slept in ; ) (it’s 4:30 am )
Looks like a beautiful day! Did I tell you Father Etsio our pastor is a huge steelers fan? He’s never been to pittsburgh. He came to the US in late 70s. Hated football being from Italy, but he said at the seminary you couldn’t touch the dial on Monday PMs, so he asked the other seminarians to explain the game and he came to fall in love with the steelers of Terry Bradshaw Lynn Swann etc. Pretty funny. He said “they need a new quarterback now” so he’s not a Ben fan.
It was a beautiful day. Low 70s, occasional clouds so the sun wasn’t always beating down.
Ben still has some good years in him. And he’s settled down and married now with 2 kids, so no more debauchery problems.
When my husband was working in Hawaii a few years ago I was aware of the 5 hour difference between us - so yesterday I kept looking at the time when you would send me a note or on the game so I kept up with your time. lol
It’s 6 hr diff from my house so I wake up to a screen full of texts from the kids. Rick Leventhal from fox plays me in WWF and he’s the only one that plays in the evening (here) he’s still in Gaza so I checked the time diff and it’s 13 hrs so my evening is his AM. Pretty funny. You were up pretty late yourself playing me!!
I stay up late anyway, especially when my husband is out of town. He flew back late last night
I’ve always thought Ben looked like a tackle dummy.... his upper torso is equal to or longer than his legs (or it appears) so he looks like a barrel on a stand to me. I think that is why he doesn’t look very agile - don’t give me his stats, I said ‘doesn’t look’ very agile
He doesn’t need to be agile. He’s big enough to take a hit. You hit another team’s QB and it’s a fine from the league.
You break his nose during a play and they don’t even call a penalty.
I know, it isn’t fair.... everyone hates Ben, the refs, the NFL commissioner, the announcers, everyone. It is a wonder he hasn’t been beheaded on the field because the officals would make him keep playing
