While that is one lucky officer, I would NOT want to be on the receiving end of my wife if I came home with a gaze to the noggen.
As a retired Police Officer, with a few bumps and brusies gleaned from my job, I can relate. LOL!
My better half would hug me and tend my wound. The sever mental butt-kicking and beat down would come later and become a part of our lives. That's why I never have told her about all the close calls I had when working in the oil patch.
