Sounds like he is referring to an terror spoof hijacking plan or incident similar to the missing airliner, not necessarily the emergence of the missing airliner
When he speaks I listen
McInerney is an awesome smart guy (yet a considerate and patient gentleman and leader who actually listened to his staff - somewhat unusual for a General esp West Point graduate) who was considered to be a wunderkind among military planners and thinkers in his day
No armchair strategist either with 4 tours in SEA, 400 combat missions, and 4100 hours flying jets
Aside from being a Romney advisor (which we forgive everyone one mistake right?) he has an impeccable longtime background in international affairs and no doubt, high sources in various agencies
I will be watching the news of Sep 7 with interest and keeping the gas tank full
