He murdered someone, what is this business about, "being an idiot?" It makes it sound like he should have killed the singer from Herman's Hermit's instead?

Why is this idiot still using our nitrogen and oxygen? He should have been worm food thirty years ago. Are there not some Lennon fans in prison with a shank?

Judy Tenuta: “Two feet to the left and Mark David Chapman would’ve been a f***ing HERO.”

Yoko came to my mind first. But Peter Noone can butcher a perfectly good song.

It doesn’t matter. Screaming Yellow Zonker Ono and her Laywers will see that parole is denied.

What did Lennon ever do to him? He even signed his album cover that day. Chapman should have put a bullet between his own two ears first.

Forgetting your wifes birthday is “being an idiot”.
Stalking and killing a musician because he stands in the way of your delusion is being a “psychotic killer”. I notice he didn’t apologize for that.

Why hasn’t someone carved his heart out with a spoon in the chow line? No Beatles fans there? I’m disappointed.

So? Prisons are full of people who are sorry for being idiots.

Eh, let him go.

When you kill someone who is totally against the death penalty, and claims to be remorseful, isn’t that enough to the left?

That’s the bad thing about being an idiot (and there are millions in the U.S.A.): You might be sorry you’re an idiot, but you’re still an idiot.

Well in that case let him out. It’s the only right Progressive thing to do. What are they going to do, hold it against him forever. It’s not like he aborted babies for a living, or was a serial rapist/killer, he only killed some washed up Brit singer.

Now Hinckley, THAT’S an idiot.

The next time you go shoot someone to impress some girl, at least make sure she’s straight first.

John Lennon supported the mass murder of millions just by being a communist supporter.

He shot Lennon to impress Jody Foster - a LESBIAN. Yes, I agree. Chapman is an idiot.

There was an article on here a few years ago about John Lennon’s politics evolving and how he admired and respected Reagan (who was not yet President at the time). I believe it because I believe Lennon was a malleable type of person who really didn’t know exactly what he believed. I believe he was somewhat ignorant of how the world works yet wanted to appear as a sophisticate. Hence why he seemed such a hypocrite to someone like Chapman.

In reference to your moniker, perhaps if only Chapman would have been a fan of Fitzgerald and looked to run over a low class whore he would have killed Yoko instead... :-)

As an aside, I never found Salinger to be that brilliant of a writer. He only wrote a couple of novels that I can remember (Catcher in the Rye and Franny and Zooey) and lots of short stories for the New Yorker. I thought Catcher in the Rye was good, but don’t rave about it like so many others.
