I own property in Mexico and travel there frequently. The best advice I can give is for her to be aware of her surroundings and only depend on people she knows and trusts. There are many wonderful and kind people in Mexico. As a general rule, show them respect and they will do anything for you.

Keeping a copy of your passport with you and leaving another at home woud be smart. If she speaks some Spanish it will also help. Tell her to have fun.

Depend on people she knows. Agreed. Tho I do want OPtion B, C D, backup in case there are issues...such as airport no-show etc. I think once she get’s to hotel with the wedding group things will be clear sailing, it is just the time from drop off at airport till she checks in at the hotel that concerns me...

tho the other advice from all is greatly appreciated. :)

Agreed! Be aware of surroundings. I have told her this and will show her this thread.

I have made photocopy of numerous documents for her to take with her and store here at home.

Wish she knew more Spanish. I am thinking there may be a phone App for translation.
