They tried to get in the race before a typhoon hit. I was watching the tape delay of the race and the commentators talked about how the organizers refused to move the race time up. The race should of been cancelled.

no way- the race never should have been cancelled- it was a freak accident in which Bianci hydroplaned off the track and hit a crane that was removing another car (Adrian Sutil)...hydroplaning/sliding off the track happens every week but sliding into a crane is a rare event...

I will be fascinated to hear comments from Niki Lauda, Jackie Stewart and others who have pushed for better driver safety.

More drivers were once killed, before the safety efforts.
