Last Christmas my Daughter gave me a large supply of Omaha Beef.
I thought some of the desserts were really good, the steaks were just average and the hot dogs which fortunately there were only a few, were poor. The sort of baked potatoes were fairly good but the one thing which stood out was the hamburger patties.
They actually had the taste of steak yet were of course tender. I think I will hint this year that she just make it all hamburgers and desserts this year.
We have a small grocery store here that survives off its old fashioned meat department. They make their own ground beef there. I buy most of my meat there but will only eat their ground beef. After eating their ground beef even the low fat, most expensive ground beef from the regular grocery stores stinks to me. When I open it up I can smell the difference. It also fries up to way too much water and grease.
