The mother of a five-year-old girl paralyzed by the enterovirus has spoken out about the hell of watching her young daughter battle the deadly illness.
Kinley Galbreath, from Hamilton, has spent the past three weeks in intensive care at Children's of Alabama, where she remains on a ventilator paralyzed from her arms to her legs.
Her mom Kim Nichols has remained by Kinley's side since the little girl was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with the potentially fatal respiratory illness enterovirus D-68
Speaking exclusively to ABC 3340, the mother said: 'As she was getting ready to doze off, she said 'mommy, my hands are going numb' and by that point she started to lose movement in her neck.
'On the third day is when she lost movement from her legs down,' Ms Nichols added. 'The only thing she's had control of has been her toes. And that's what she wiggles to let me know something's wrong. And she'll blink her eyes for yes, and won't blink her eyes for no.'

These children are sick because obama wanted an insecure border - their illness is an intentional outcome.
Obama deserves nothing less than the electric chair.
This is his doing, keeping the borders wide open, and distributing diseased illegals all over the land to infect, kill and paralyze our innocent children.
And now he’s in the process of an encore, courtesy Ebola.
Why is it we also read reports cautioning about miracle vaccines and treatments for Ebola because it is rapidly mutating, but not hearing mention about potential mutations in the polio virus?
Some of the experimental/off label pharmaceuticals used successfully for Ebola were initially used for AIDs. Has any consideration been made for similar off-label use for these children?
Spreading the diseases Americans refuse to spread.
Just another burden to bear for the people told us we had set aside principles for the good of the country.
Those people OWN full responsibility for this because the REPUBLICAN RINOS they demanded we ‘win’ with are 100% in agreement with Obama’s amnesty and have done nothing but help him bring another plague on us.
And guess what? They want more of this because they are again demanding we set aside MORE principles just to elect more RINOs.
Simple math folks. No one wants to hear it but there are people responsible. They are the people that empowered this fiasco. RINO voters.
Had we NOT set aside principle and TRIED to vote for principled governance we might have avoided this. But no. ‘Winning’ was Job !.
