If Ebola starts to spread in the US, I could see a couple of scenarios. First is a repeat of the 17th century outbreaks of Bubonic plague in Europe.... devastating, but not to the extent of previous outbreaks in the 13 century where nearly half of the population was wiped out. This scenario would be the result of a totally incompetent response by our government and sadly is the direction we are headed with Obama. The second scenario is that we as a nation finally get motivated to do something starting with sealing our borders and rigorously keeping anyone who is potentially infected out and fast quarantine for all outbreaks. There would be deaths and hardship, but far less than if we keep up with Obama's bumbling response. That Obama refuses to even stop potential carriers from entering the US and puting an army of idiots in charge with no coherent plan or even common sense puts us all in jeopardy. It thus will take a political solution before we can address the medical situation.

While I expect the GOP will take over Congress in a few weeks, that doesn't solve the political problem. We know Obama wil not deviate from his failed policies and the at best wishy-washy GOP leadership will likely not step to up to the crisis. It may take desperate measures to finally address the Ebola problem.

The problem is and remains Obama. So far he is unwilling and unable to become the leader we need in this crisis. He seems incapable of making even common sense decisions and appears detached or even deluded. The crisis we face is not only an Ebola pandemic, but also a crisis of leadership.

Obama is not a bumbler.

Obama wants as many Americans to die of any cause as possible. Ebola is just the latest means of killing Americans.
