FEMA, Martial Law: Why It Fails
First off, if we had been more 'cool and collected' [regarding this manufactured ebola scare], then I would not know how this turns out. Our military and national guard might have been more maleable and more easily manipulated IF no one sounded the horn.
But now?
Most of our fighting forces are fully aware of how strangely ebola had been brought here to the US. Since most in the military are conservatives [despite everything President Ebola has done], I imagine they hold similar views to us, their FRiends.
FEMA and President Ebola will most likely avoid the term, 'martial law', but that's what FEMA imposes already with disasters.
But President 'B. Insane Ebola' might well attempt martial law, I hope he does try. There have been 'evil overlord' experiments that his advisors might be siting to him daily:

The Milgram Experiment
[simplified summary]
Some guy in a lab coat hires another man to turn dials. Then an actor is in a nearby room who cries out in pain every time the dial is turned from 'electric shock'. The 'lab guy' keeps telling 'Mister Dial Twister' to increase the voltage even though the 'victim' in the other room says he has a heart problem, etc. [All fake.]
This is a way of tricking someone into lethal intent so long as the 'lab guy' accepts full responsibility. And yes, by an overwhelming margin: 61-66% of people will keep 'raising the voltage' to 'lethal' levels.

Fine, but this is based on trickery of an isolated individual. Some would say it arguably 'vindicates' Germany for the Holocaust. [I disagree -- most Germans didn't even know what was happening, but the Nazis who knowingly participated in the Holocaust deserved to be executed.]
It might even mean that you could trick entire hand-picked units for a few days through underhanded manipulations.
But it does not simulate US fighting forces who can 'feel out' each other's hidden thoughts through discreet intonations and body language.
Based on the Milgram Experiment, 40% or more would be resistant THE MOMENT they realize how they are being manipulated. Then interaction would corrode unit discipline very quickly, particularly among officers. It's true that the military is very strict to instill conformity, but that only buys officers time, not robotic long-term obedience.
Nor does this simulate an army which has at least two informed members in each platoon steeped for several years in Washington politics. Each passing day of nation-wide martial law would meet with greater resistance in the military. Then it would completely backfire. [I have trouble foreseeing any other outcome.]

Sophist 'intellectuals' such as President Ebola's staff probably put too much faith in the Milgram Experiment. Don't forget Bill Ayers [one of President Ebola's 'bestest buddies']. Ayers has been intrigued with 'violence-manipulation' and 'violence-indoctrination' all his life. He once tried to incite a riot in a city. And his 'Weathermen' were terrorists who tried to inspire copycats. So even though standard martial law would fail [according to the Milgram Experiment at least], it would be foolish to assume it won't be attempted anyway.

The Lucifer Effect
Based on the Zimbardo Prison Study/Stanford Prison Experiment the Lucifer Effect is more disturbing [regarding martial law] than the Milgram Experiment.
People placed in 'prison guard' uniforms tend turn sadistic toward their innocent prisoners. Zimbardo referred to it as 'The Lucifer Effect' [also the title of the book he wrote]. Role-playing leads to conditioning and conformity.
But here's the thing: our military and national guards have already been conditioned: they are PATRIOTS and Americans. That still means something to most people. This was no 'quicky' conditioning. It's life-long. This current military will [generally speaking] never turn sadistic toward everyday peace-loving Americans, not in this climate. They are more likely to turn sadistic toward enemies of patriotism.
But once again, sophist 'intellectuals' just don't get it. So don't be surprised if they attempt martial law.

The Solomon Asch Experiment
This was a 'conformity' test that concluded that people will conform to lies during 'line segment' tests. Even though the truth is self-evident, 75% of people can be goaded by a group to agree with a lie. [Kind of explains liberalism, doesn't it?]

If a single person stands for the truth in that group, then guess what happens? The conformy level plummets to 10% or less. That's the power of truth. And it would save us from martial law.
But once again, many sophist 'intellectuals' would say, "75%? Great."
There's another reason why leftists could be overly-optimistic: the regimented nature of a disciplined military. When the Commander-in-Chief sees them parade-marching before him, when he sees them smartly obedient to orders, it's easy to think of them as robotic machines. Don't be fooled. They are human beings, and the US military's discipline stems from devotion to Old Glory, love of freedom, and to a large extent, Christianity.
President Ebola has been trying to pervert our military with psychotropic drugs, with a higher turnover rate, with sodomy-based 'rights', with leftist recruitment ads, with monstrous restrictions on military pastors, and even with illegal immigrants.
His latest caper is this horridly planned operation in Ebola-land. [Another too-stupid-to-be-stupid fiasco.] That could help thin out the current ranks of patriots as well [which seems to fit the pattern] but it's a desperate gamble. He risks ticking off the military more than ever, and well they should be!
Time is running out, and I believe he still has a long way to go.
God willing, he will FAIL.

He was violating FEMA rules. The taser on someone so venerable could have triggered a heart attack or stroke. That is only one of countless examples.
This is all part of Agenda 21 [as I will explain later] as was Bill Clinton's 'martial law' contingency back in 1999. Even prior to that, FEMA camps are concentration camps / 'martial law' zones no matter how they were packaged.
FEMA, btw, took off under the leadership of "Buddy the Fixer" who had nepotistic ties with the Wild-Child President-in-Briefs.

Glenn Beck made a huge drive for a book about Agenda 21, and it's no joke. It's no exaggeration. It should be taken VERY seriously.
The United Nations initiated Agenda 21 back in the '90s [if not sooner].
When I first learned about 'Agenda 21' here on this pioneering forum, my first thought was 'wacko unbelievable kook stuff'. But there was one problem -- a UN website had offical 'Agenda 21' links. Ask any 1998 member of this forum. I doubt any of us forgot about that shocker.
It's real. Agenda 21 is a UN plan to cram the entire US population into a few 'mega-cities' [aka 'concentration camps' aka FEMA camps]. The UN even posted an online map. Almost all property from coast-to-coast was listed as part of a gigantic UN biosphere [or whatever-the-heck it was called]. Where I live, for example, most of us are slated to be sent to a tiny area around Richmond.

Gun-Grabbing
Then I began to see patterns. Have you ever noticed the 'gun control' cycles? Most democrats are silent about gun rights most of the time, but then there's some big 'gun control' drive.
And they're getting desperate now, up to the point of instigating MASS MURDER:
Fast and Furious. Hundreds of innocent victims were murdered in the US ... AND ... Mexico as a result of that Obama scandal.
I believe it's tied to Agenda 21, to this manufactured ebola outbreak, and to FEMA.
'Fast and Furious' was a 'blood-smear' campaign against gun rights. No martial law effort has yet succeeded against a well-armed national populace.
Guess what FEMA has tried to do? Disarm the populace at disaster sites. More trial runs so far as I'm concerned, and a dangerous precedent.
Conclusion:
FEMA has been initiating martial law and concentration camps at disaster sites. FEMA has been trying to disarm the populace during its martial law operations. All of this is in plain sight and public record.
Not only Obama but Bill Clinton also drafted 'martial law' plans.

Our fighting forces in this current climate would resist and [within a few days] actively oppose anything that drastically infringes nationwide freedom.
There's an excellent chance that Obama has already failed and knows it. He might decide to make us 'alarmists' look like fools. [That was what Bill Clinton decided to do regarding Y2K and his 'martial law' contingency plan.] But then again, Obama is audacious enough to try anything, and at this stage of the ebola fiasco, making us look like the fools instead of him would be almost as tricky as martial law.
To unify the country, President 'B. Insane Ebola' lacks moral authority to impose martial law. Resignation would be his most honorable choice to restore public trust, but don't hold your breath. His entire life is about power.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
