I was in San Francisco when the 49ers won the Superbowl -- can't recall if it was '88 or '89, but the scene downtown was bedlam. My friend's car had a full bottle of beer bounce off the windshield as we drove down the street; down at Haight and Ashbury cars were being overturned and set ablaze.
It was party time for the lesser urbanites.

In KC after our painful loss, we picked up our trash, gathered up our memorial drink cups, headed out to the parking lot and drove home.
Kind of like a TEA Party gathering.
No violence, no fist fights, no muggings, no assaults, no rapes, no sexual assaults, no shootings, lootings, nothing but some shouting that we can't wait until Spring Training and next season!
