She was low risk, no symptoms, movement wasn’t restricted..and BAM..here comes the fever.

Yup. And as soon as the fever came, she was isolated so that she poses no risk to the public.

And yet that idiot in Maine is exposing people without a thought.

The nurse in Maine is showing no symptoms. Like the woman in Oregon, if the nurse begins to develop symptoms, she too will be isolated so that she poses no risk to the public.

” if the nurse begins to develop symptoms, she too will be isolated so that she poses no risk to the public. “

Seems there is the potential of putting people at risk this way. I guess I don’t see the harm in being proactive.

How do you know she is showing no symptoms? Her word?

Like the Dr who was showing no symptoms, traveled around NYC area and then BAM gets a high fever and claims he self quarantined?

Do symptoms suddenly appear, or are they gradual? At what point is the noncontagious person contagious? Is it when the fever begins, when the person’s temperature is 1 degree above normal? 2? What if someone begins to develop a fever when he is at dinner? Is that person not contagious when he walks into the restaurant but contagious when he walks out?

There must be a starting point. If this could be articulated, the reluctance to quarantine would make more sense.
