Trenton used to be home to several famous American Potteries (e.g. Stangl, Lenox) and the Roebling Wire Works (used on the Brooklyn Bridge etc.)

I’ve viewed that sign for decades traveling up and down the Boston-Washington corridor.
And my thought was always, Well, why don’t you silly gits try selling it before they steal it. And quit bitchin’ about it already.”
