**I just had to click on this post.**
Then I suggest you click on this one: KPD: Loaded, stolen gun found in woman's body
That rig looks impossible to walk while wearing.
I don’t know how I missed that one! lol
I’d like to thank you for responding to the rather condescending comment earlier in the thread about women and guns. I happen to be a woman and a concealed permit holder. I am proud of my well above average arsenal. 3 Sigs,a Beretta and a Ruger, and a .22 Henry Golden Boy for varmints. Enough ammo to last a lifetime, too.
I hope they don’t all fall out of the boat this next summer. Hee Hee.
Yup. When wifeofzeugma went to get one, she musta tried out just about everything they had before she finally zeroed in on what felt most comfortable in her hand, that she could easily chamber a round with.
I'll join the others on this thread to say the title was... interesting.
PS-I went to the website at the article, and find the lingerie inspired holsters to be a bit silly and perhaps flimsy and unsafe. I prefer CrossBreed Holtsers.

Ok, don't reply to me if you are a male. All of us have had to roll a plus size female around in flour to find the...
Sorry.

Hey, I was writing my post about CrossBreed while you posted yours. LOL. Now those are real holsters! I have 3. Want to get the ones they make for beside the bed, under tables and in the truck too.
Oh my!!! The classic CTC, (Concealed Tuna Carry), style!! When questioned the young lady responded: “CTC!!? HAH!! That’s nuthin’ buddy, you should see where I ‘pack’ the Desert Eagle .50AE I carry for my back-up gun......!!!”

You may be correct if speaking of the novice shooter’s first handgun...But not necessarily; please allow me to respectfully and conditionally disagree...
The self-defense solution lies between the ears, and muscle memory, not with the type of firearm...And of course, the first step is to select a combat-tested, proven reliable brand/model pistol that fits her, in the largest caliber she can shoot well, and keep it in ready condition at all times...
In my experience as an instructor, any woman who will devote the effort and training time to master the unique manual of arms of her chosen weapon and become skilled in coping with malfunctions, can use a semi-auto with the same effectiveness as a revolver...
This goes for any male as well...Coping with Type 1, 2 or 3 malfunctions in a semi-auto pistol is gender neutral, and a product of training and dry/live practice, not the sex of the shooter...
Some of the best shooters and gun handlers I’ve ever seen have been ladies...Plus, the ladies understand they don’t know what they don’t know, and are humble enough to accept the training to correct their deficiencies...Unlike (sadly) too many of their male counterparts, who egos too often get in the way of correction, already know everything, and have practiced their mistakes for years...They can prove it at the range...
Gentlemen: If the women in your lives want to carry (and they should), make sure they get training, and take them to the range with you...Shooting is not just for us guys...An afternoon at the range is a great couples or family outing...
And anything that helps a lady better conceal and still look fashionable in her street clothes will only help insure she does carry always and everywhere...More power, and much success to this designer...
I usually carry with a regular IWB holster at the small of my back. Since I have a bit of a sway back, it is unnoticeable even without a jacket and very comfortable.
I have a semi auto with a 30 round mag but the Lady Smith .38 is a great little revolver for women average or not.
//The average woman should get a revolver instead of a semi. The revolver will not fail when needed.//
What about the ‘average man’?! Sounds rather sexist, IMO. I am a better shot and with better tactical training than most men, my semi is my baby.
Thank you!
That’s funny. I’m actually not a big fan of CrossBreed, but I’m a fan of the girl in the video.
some rigs are like lingerie, not meant to be worn outside the house. ;) BTW, MrR likes when I wear my holster and not much else.
