What I love still is people say filming.
When in public TV land on remotes, there was usually someone giving the blanket announcement that cameras were present and the proceedings broadcast. No matter the age or anything, they almost always said filming.
One of the last ones I was on before I escaped the dead end career, there was a videographer with me who had been there over 30 and soon to retire out. He chuckled and said to me, we’d better call Eckerd’s to soup the film tonight.
I have a betacam SP machine I bought on Ebay for a song just because I miss working with them. I’d like to lay my hands on a 1 inch or even a Quad format machine working or not.
On the other hand, I sometimes see films on the internet that really were filmed and young people call it a “video” as in “see rare video from WWII.”
