With two recent marriages in the family, love is in the air for the Duggars - and one more relationship may well be in the works. According to Star, patriarch Jim Bob has made it his mission to set his 24-year-old daughter Jana up with football player Tim Tebow. A source told the magazine: 'Jim Bob is no dummy. Tim would be a perfect addition to the family and a feather in his cap. Can you imagine the press attention a Tim-Jana wedding would get?'

I don’t know about this. I think they are a great family, but the dad setting up the daughters for husbands is just strange. Tim Tebow might not be interested in such a thing. Is he interested in getting married?

Dads choosing husbands for their daughters had been the norm for thousands of years. They certainly didn’t do worse than letting the daughters choose.
But I hope Tim likes children…lots of children.
The Duggar clan could really make a splash were they to embrace the “Quiverfull” (trans-?) Evangelical movement, actively seeking Evangelicals who wanted large families to match-make with their children.
In effect, turning their family into the nucleus of a large family mutually supportive Evangelical community.
Note to author: bad news. Jim Bob wants God’s choices for his daughters, not a publicity stunt. If he wants this, it’s because he’s wondering if it’s God’s choice.
We don’t even know if Tim is interested in woman much less children. Seriously why are we forcing this. Very odd.
The Duggar women really are attractive. I wish them well.
I guess once your famous and wealthy, you’re really only interested in other famous and wealthy people.
Tim Tebow is a Christian, the Duggars are Mormons. Believe me, there are radical differences.

Jill and Jessa chose their own husbands. With Jim-Bob’s approval, of course.
I am of the opinion that all of the Duggar girls are very attractive.
It seems Tom Tebow and the Duggar’s daughters are well grounded in belief in God as is their dedication to follow
God’s instructions to live a good life. Standards and faith is of prime importance, it might be a match made in Heaven.
Any father wants his daughter to marry a good man, that will be kind and steady, as it takes two people with one agreement to live with God as their guide, it is wise to have values that match. God bless them to find the person that fits the bill. Otherwise it will likely not last. God bless these young people to make sound wise decisions. Tim is apparently a dedicated Christian. God can and does bless us all.
If Tim says no thanks will Jim Bob accept that?Or will he continue to force the issue?
