It is nice of you to say so-there were plenty of the really small jobs-which are all we do-out here until the snowbirds and tourists had no jobs or money and the economy went to hell-now we have no jobs and no money. In better times, the tiny jobs are plentiful, because no one else wants to be bothered with interacting and working with a working class customer who doesn’t have a lot of money to spend-I like to because it is a chance to be really creative, and good customer service makes referrals...
They won’t keep a bigger company going, but a subcontractor or two can make enough to keep body and soul together, and it is much less hassle than big jobs.
