1) DiFi had a bug up her shorts about the alleged CIA computer hacking of her staff, and took her pound of flesh in petty revenge.
2) DiFi risks being regarded as “too conservative” within the framework of a Democrat Party that is rapidly moving left, and had to do this to secure her radical bona-fides.
3) The Democrat Party will NEVER get over their Bush Derangement Syndrome, and was required to feed this red meat to their base and their key donors.
4) They are holding out hope that somehow, someway, they can have Bush, Cheney, et. al. actually prosecuted for this somewhere.
