the religious see miracles of God, the scientists see miracles of Nature and the two sides proceed to argue about God versus Nature, rather than recognize that what they agree on - that it’s all a miracle.
“the religious see miracles of God, the scientists see miracles of Nature and the two sides proceed to argue about God versus Nature, rather than recognize that what they agree on - that its all a miracle.”
How about god working with nature to create these “miracles.”
I appreciate the thought you are trying to express, you can't have it both ways. As an evolutionist, one can't say that we are all just an almalgamation of chemicals, and the sum total of a series of random action and reactions, then get to claim that there are miracles in nature. They don't get to claim science and then have a point in their equation that says "magic happens here".
They can say things like "highly improbable" and "fortunante coincidence". Better yet, they can teach something as an unproven theory and admit that they simply don't know. They really don't have grounds to say "miracle", though.
