That’s why The Blaze is on my never visit list. It is a horribly designed website with pop ups pop unders and one stupid headline after another. It is barely a step above the “One weird trick” web ads that pollute the internet.

I ring the bell for SA outside the store. I used to frequently see people from group homes returning Christmas items like trees, wreaths, etc back when Walmart took back anything even without a receipt.

I contact WalMart corporate with the following:

This story is going viral:

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/12/26/when-i-opened-it-i-said-oh-my-god-what-an-uncle-found-inside-a-playstation-4-box-he-was-about-to-wrap-for-his-niece/

You might want to get ahead of it.

BTW, this particular WalMart in Stapleton has been called "the worst in the world" on at least one online forum with several hundred thousand readers.

Have had similar experiences with Amazon. That’s why they are my “go to” online shopping resource. In fact, they are my “go to” shopping resource for almost everything except fresh produce and other perishables.

They just “get it.”

I had a friend who did that. He bought a small porta-potty, traveled all over the west on vacation and never used it.

Upon his return home he took it back and got his money back.

Several years back we had a very bad ice storm on the way so many people went to the stores that were open, bought small generators, then when the thaw came, they tried to take them back for a refund. To prevent this the stores now refuse to take them back, and any problems you have must be taken up with the manufacturer.

I bought a pair of underpants from a local store once. When I got them home, I looked at them more thoroughly, and I noticed that there was a light yellow stain in the crotch area! I couldn’t believe that they could sell underwear in that condition! I wondered though, if someone had taken the new pair off the hanger it was hanging on, switched them with a dirty pair they were wearing, and left wearing the new ones! It was disgusting, so I took them back and showed the pants and they agreed with me and gave me my money back (or let me choose a new one for free). That’s the only time that’s ever happened to me or anyone I know! (ugh!)
