Yep. I saw two motorcyclists weaving traffic about a month ago. They were darting in and out and creating their own mini lanes between cars. What was interesting was that they were totally oblivious to each other and came within about half a second of weaving into each other at ~70 mph.
People who do this are betting their lives on the traffic being 100% predictable. No one opening their door to spit or empty a cup, no one suddenly lurching a their car to nose into the next lane, and no other motorcyclist or bicyclist ignoring traffic laws in a similar manner.

It's called "lane splitting" or "filtering", depending on where it is. It's legal in California but nowhere else (I think) in the US.
I'm a fair weather rider and would do it at stop lights, maybe, but not in moving traffic.
Yep, and the poor slob that happens to flatten him has to live with it the rest of their lives.
Just like the idiots doing wheelies in traffic at 75 miles per hour.
