I heard about this last summer. The ‘boyfriend’ Rivera said he never knew about all the other children because the woman stayed upstairs most of the time, and he was ‘not allowed’ up there at any time’. Still, she was pregnant at least six times during their residence at that house. Did he not know what a pregnant woman would look like close to gestation? Was he of particularly low IQ? She was and is obviously severely ill. Did the older children not know of the three year old or the infant? So many questions that may be better off unanswered.
