“I don’t know about this. I mean how do the conservative men and women who are pro-choice vote,..........”

I gotta figure they are voting conservative for other issues other than pro life. Things like 2 amendment and taxes.

i know franklin said he had travelled to countries where they had govt rograms to help the poor and all it did was make them more dependent andcement them into being poor, even more. the kindest solition was to offer less help and permit them to lift themselves out of poverty, which did work better than the other systems.

we have forgotten a lot.

Father Robert Drinan, the priest of Satan, repeated that line: “If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.”

Cardinal Wuerl stood by while Drinan celebrated an “Inaugural Mass” for Nancy Pelosi in 2007. When questioned about its appropriateness, his response was, “Fr. Drinan has faculties in this diocese.”

This Pope’s FAVORITES (Wuerl, Dolan, O’Malley, Cupich) in the hierarchy are the wickedest men who have ever been bishops. They are mostly, if not all, practicing homosexuals. They are pro-abortion. They are Marxists.

When someone tells me “I am pro-life” and “I voted for Obama” it means to me, “I vaguely wish that abortion would go away, but I don’t care enough about it to lift my little pinky.”

Yeah, I’m not sure I agree with folks who claim they are pro-life but vote dem all the time. Would you agree they are actually pro-life? It seems like a hard pill to swallow but much easier the other way, as in agreeing with someone when they say they are pro-choice but always voting pub.

How do you know how often they vote at all? Seems to me with a country that only votes 50-60% in national elections and less for state and local, a high % of some of the demographics in question could simply belong to groups even more likely not to vote at all, or vary their vote within their group by region or something.

There are an awful lot of men on FR who demonstrate NO actual attachment to the virtue of chastity. Except, of course, in connection with their wives and possibly daughters.

Yeah, that’s similar to my reaction. But I don’t have too much of a problem at all believing someone when they claim to be pro-abortion but always vote pub.

Oh I understand quite well. Makes me support Pro Life causes and post stuff like this even more. Know what I mean?

Never mind them “voting” okay why do they go to a pro choice Christian church?

Example:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/3243007/posts

That is not the only one out there too. Then you know Gamecock is always pinging out mega churches and truth be told I never hear them preaching against abortion. (Gamecock had to ping you cause I brought your name up in this) Heaven only knows they preach on having it all but not having a lot of kids and avoiding the abortion clinic.

Then there are the people who have abortions. We have argued round and round about this in the Religion Forum but trust me FReepers I have read too much on this and I know it is not just libs having abortions. Yes it happens in our camp too. It happens in our churches. It happens because we fail as Christians to get the Word out. Just saying.

We have to change hearts on both sides in order to stop abortion. We can’t do that with every single person no, but we must do it with the majority and get roe vs wade overturned. Then work on the state levels and make it illegal locally.
Get me talking about pro life issues and it’s Katie bar the door we’ll be here all night.

Still makes me glad I’m NOT their wife/daughter.

Incidentally, I happen to have a soft spot for beautiful, God-fearing, conservative black women. Given those characteristics, all the other good traits these women possess simply springs from that.

Full disclosure posted to your inbox.

Hold on no way! How would we know those ‘boys’ weren’t just girls tragically trapped in boy’s bodies!
