Most dogs are. I had an uncle who raised bird dogs for sale. His observation was, "A happy dog gets the same meal at the same time every day."

LOL! That’s great. I call mine “fuss budget” a lot of the time. He does the whining bit, too. He’s just trying to get me to do something — trying to train me.
