Great news on Mrs Don-o plus another update at post 480.

She still needs our prayers.

WINNER: Understatement of the year.

She got settled in last night. No tubes and wires. Much better, more comfortable bed. She can actually move around and adjust her position w/o having to be manhandled. She will get to wear real clothes. The little things....

Has not yet requested a beer; but did chug two warm milks at bedtime.

This is don-o on Mrs account. I have her set up. After she does a little shopping, she may feel up to posting - at least reading. I will report she was “mildly” irritated over being awakened three times overnight to be given sleeping pills.

Haha that's an ODD policy to say the least isn't it? "Mrs Don-o, you need to wake up to take a sleeping pill. It will help you get to sleep"...

Progress is being made. She can wear real clothes and eat real food. Appetite is slowly returning. The staff is very good. We are a bit daunted by how slowly strength is returning, but are assured we are normal or slightly above average in this regard.

There was an Elvis impersonator yesterday that she absolutely loved and I have called shape note singers for tomorrow afternoon.

She has read the thread. Emotion overwhelms her - and she has talked to the professionals about this. Perfectly normal. Keep posting and do keep praying.

You will be hearing from her. soon I hope.
