Thank you God the baby was is alive! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.....
FReepers in Denver/Lakewood? please call this prosecuter and beg him not to file charges.
I agree. The baby is safe and that is the utmost importance. Better than what some babies have suffered through when unwanted by their bio-mom.
It is a wise law. Thank God this child didn’t get burned in the middle of the street.
They shouldn’t even look for the mother, imo.
Most Importantly; The mother let the child live, and gave her to compassionate responsible adults.
Less Importantly ;The couple identified as “elderly”, were in their 40’s and 50’s.
Please pray they DO NOT prosecute this mother, who ever she is!!!
I agree.
Safe Haven laws are good...
The article said the mother gave the baby to two people in a Walmart parking lot and said she didn’t want it anymore. What if those people were perverts and kept the baby instead of taking the baby to the fire station?
I pray the prosecutor doesn’t file charges either. Why? It would set a very bad precedent IMO. The young girl (and bless her for it) didn’t abandon the baby in a trash can or bury it alive. She made sure the child was taken in and safe. Her intent was to get the baby somewhere safe and sound (and since the child was still unclean from birth.. she herself was post delivery). I’ve delivered twice and to think this young girl did it probably by herself amazes me. Bless her for doing the right thing in choosing LIFE for her child and bless the couple who took care of the baby.
