In this environment, who would want to coach at all? Everyone is just one real or perceived slight from a career and reputation ending charge.
That’s my thought. I simply would not be a coach.

I coached ice hockey for 20 years. One of my female players used to get dressed with the boys. She said she is part of the team and doesn’t want to be treated special. Her parents agreed. I had a hard time accepting this.
At the first practice one of my male players did a strip tease in front of her, showing her his junk. These are 13-14 year olds. At was at this moment I knew this was going to blow up in everyone’s face, be on the news and USA hockey was going to have kittens.
She looked at his junk and without blinking an eye pointed at it and started laughing hysterically. The player quit that evening and my female player got dressed with the male players for the rest of the season. There was never another word said.
