Boston is an incredibly segregated city, it’s shocked me every time I’ve been there. You really don’t see any black people. Instead you see white trash people doing stuff that in any other northeast city would be not white.

Weren't the Red Sox the last team to get a black player? The great Celtic teams of the '80s featured Larry Bird and Danny Ainge. And heck, I don't think ANY of the Bruins have ever been black!

The Red Sox were the last MLB team to integrate.
1959 with Pumpsie Green.
And supposedly they "passed" on a young man named Willie Mays.
Imagine having Say Hey playing for the Sox in the 50s.
They'd probably have broken their WS losing streak by 1957 if they signed him.
Instead of waiting until 2004.
How would a Yankee pitcher like to face Williams AND Mays?

With 90% of the NFL black it’s nice to see a team that will actually sign white players. Congrats to the world champion New England Patriots.
